dental arts

Location: Lawrence, MA
Client:

Architect: Lagrasse Yanowitz & Feyl Architects

The Dental Arts Lawrence project was a full gut renovation of a 100+ year old, 16,500 SF building in downtown Lawrence, completed in phases to keep the dental practice operational throughout construction.

Work began on the second floor, including a full renovation and installation of a new three-stop elevator, while the practice remained active on the first floor. Once complete, the practice relocated upstairs, allowing for renovation of the first floor and basement to finish the interior scope.

Exterior upgrades included façade repointing, new windows, added architectural details, a roof terrace, and full roof and mechanical system replacement. During construction, fire-damaged framing was uncovered, requiring a near-complete rebuild of the second-floor structure, completed while the office remained open below. The result is a fully restored building that now stands out in downtown Lawrence.
