Picture Worcester, Massachusetts, 1937. Frank Madigan loads his lone pickup truck with tools, armed with nothing but determination and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. What he couldn't have known then was that his small operation would evolve into a construction powerhouse spanning four generations and eight decades.
Building More Than Structures
The Madigan timeline tells a story of strategic evolution:
1937-1953: Frank establishes the company's reputation for reliability in Central Massachusetts, laying the foundation brick by brick.
1953: A pivotal moment, Frank's son Bud joins the family business, bringing fresh energy and vision that propels the company beyond state borders.
1970s-1980s: The third generation enters as Bud's sons, Fran and Jim, help orchestrate a crucial strategic shift from government contracts to collaborative private sector partnerships, a decision that would define Madigan's future.
1990s-2000s: As Fran and Jim take the reins, they deepen the company's commitment to relationship-building, treating subcontractors and employees with the same care as clients.
Today: Andrew and Brendan Madigan, representing the fourth generation, blend time-tested values with cutting-edge construction technology.
