Temple Emanuel Sinai Renovation Project

Location: Worcester, MA
Client:
Temple Emanuel Sinai
Architect: Brawer & Hauptman Architects

Project included a full renovation and addition to an existing synagogue to comfortably serve two congregations that were joining together.  This project was previously to be performed by another contractor, but contract negotiations fell through. Madigan then stepped in and accepted the financial and schedule constraints of the project and met or bettered all requirements.  The building itself included an addition which nearly doubled the square footage of the existing building that added needed office, conference spaces, a large and attractive lobby area, and other administration areas.  The renovation of the existing space included bringing the building to ADA code compliance, all new high-end finishes, and a new kitchen area.  The finish carpentry package even included taking apart an ark which was installed at another synagogue and reconfiguring the very old piece to fit into the new renovation.
