Fidelity branch building

Location: Shrewsbury, MA
Client: First American Realty, Inc.
Architect: Dixon Salo Architects, Inc.

Construction of a ground up nearly 9,000 SF office building for a great client while working with a great architect and project team.

Project was able to move as quickly as possible through permitting to begin construction prior to the winter months. Despite encountering various subsurface materials which caused delays to the other work, our team was able to move quickly and efficiently to minimize delays and ensure that other work was expedited to meet the project schedule.

Included new site improvements to accommodate new building and existing tenants including repaving most of the development's existing parking lot, new site storm drainage, a storm drain retention pond to satisfy requirements for water discharge, and EV charging stations for future expansion.  The mechanical systems were re-sized during the project to accommodate the end user's requirements which, with the help of JJ Bafaro, we were able to make these changes quickly and without impact to the project schedule.

Special thanks for the dedication and skill of Allain Sitework, Dublin Steel Corporation, Favulli Electric, Form-Up Foundations, JJ Bafaro, Stidsen Masonry, Solid Rock Construction, Herald Glass Company, Applied Roofing Systems, and Hydrograss Technologies.  The design team led by Dixon-Salo Architects included Shepherd Engineering, Johnson Structural Engineering, and JJ Bafaro were excellent, thorough and responsive.
